After the successful first practice of KKB Angeles VIA/JAM earlier (April 16, 2008). I went to PCBS (Philippine Christian Bookstore) to buy a song book that God ordered me to buy. But after I bought the book… I went outside and it was raining. Then I simply remembered the authority that God has given to all of the Christians. The Power to Move Mountains in Jesus’ Name. So I look at my hand and I felt God telling me to raise my hand, and I command the Rain to stop in Jesus name. Without Doubting… But by FAITH, God will stop the Rain. And He did.
It’s funny that We, as Christians are called “Sleeping Giants”. We have the authority and power in Jesus’ Name but we don’t practice it. If we are practicing these privileges God has given to us… as His Children, we won’t even think of turning our back to God. If only Christians would STAND in this world.. We can make a difference. Just like that quote that I heard.. “We can fly like birds, if we have FAITH”.
Christians seem to have forgotten what kind of power they have available and the devil keeps on deceiving them… God made His children in such a way that when the people of the world is sitting, they would be standing, when the world is standing, they will stand out, when the world stands out, We, His children must be outstanding and when the devil dares the world to be outstanding, God’s people will be the standards to be used..
I’m having some trouble believing in God…I’ve always had a good relationship with Him…but I feel like Satan is trying to separate myself from Him. Every time i read my Bible, Satan keeps telling me that it’s not true and all this stuff. so now I’m starting to doubt God, but I don’t want to. Help?
Actually… just by that, you have answered your question “Is there a God?” Have you ever asked yourself why do you feel so troubled as you read the Bible? Why do you feel as if someone is attacking you as you read the Bible? The answer is because God is real. So do not doubt God. I remember Pastor Emer said once… The fact of we know there’s a sin or not (that we know if we are doing good things or not) it is because of the Bible. God gave us the Bible to know what is right or wrong. You can see philosophers (even they do not believe in the Bible, well some of them) still based what is good or not because of the Bible. You can see in the court that before a witness stand, they will hold the Bible as a witness. The fact that even some people do not believe God, still God doesn’t dissapear Is prooving that God exist. The fact that there is a word of GOD and people cannot erase the name Jesus Christ all throughout Generation is proving that there is a God. The fact that you are here and I am here is a proof that God exists. (and the fact that satan is real, whereas God is real.)
Just remember Amy, satan will try to confuse you because he doesn’t want you to prosper. The Bible said in Jeremiah 29:11, God has plans for you. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future. The devil doesn’t want you to be happy (he hates you and he hates God) he wants to trample you down, so he’ll do anything to separate you and God. Dont let him. 1 John 4:4 said, “Greater is He than is in you, that he is in the world” So keep fighting the doubt with faith. You’ll see how God will work on you.
